Going
through
'no'
The
appearance of 'no' within
the unconditional 'yes' to itself of nature represents a crack which
goes widening in a gigantic fault. The distance grows hollow
'between'.
Between immediate and differed, between present and past, between
present and future, between the desire and its execution, between the
'same' and the 'other', between appearance and being, between
presence and absence, between what is and what must be… And in this
distance opens a new space and comes the possibility of a new world.
The world of culture. With the possibility of this 'no' is given, new
nature, the possibility of man. 'Man' like an active verb: to
humanize, humanizing.
All
is given in this 'no'. All what remains to be conquered and spread
out. Gradually. Dialectically. If the 'same' never says 'no' to
itself, nothing 'else'' will be. If it refuses to open itself to the
'other', to face it, to go through it, there will eternally nothing
else than itself, closed in itself, trapped even in its perfection.
Its salvation comes from the fault. It is gaping
which opens it to a new possibility. It is its vulnerability which
gives him chance of otherness.
Getting
open to the 'other' and embrace it. To die in its grip is to emerge new.
And refuse to buckle itself on this new position, but still to open.
To still face the 'other', and the 'other' of the 'other'.
Infinitely.
Dialectics
implies a moment of negativity. It is its essential
moment. From a 'full', whatever it is, closed on its plenitude, never
anything 'else' can emerge. Innovation is only possible through an
open gaping in the middle of a full. A position is getting new
otherness only through its confrontation with an opposition. It
cannot thus be a question of a vacuum for itself. A vacuum in itself
is empty and remains empty. You need an active negativity, an act of
opposition. Man alone is where this negative act arises. Nature is
never 'dialectical' in itself but only in its recovery in the
dialectical human space.
Paradoxical
efficiency of negativity! Paradoxical efficiency of this moment of
refusal, distance, difference, opening on the 'other' one! Since the
first tool, since the first babbling, every human conquest starts
with disarticulation! Articulation has to be broken so that a new
articulation gets possible. An increasing articulation filling an
increasing gaping of significance. An increasing significance filling
an increasing gaping of articulation.
Dialectics
in the middle of articulation... Dialectics between articulation and
significance... Dialectics in the middle of significance… The
matrix of specific humanity, the cultural matrix, is it elsewhere
than in this infinite efficiency of gaping?
Singular dynamics of NO! Man
is the being in exodus which risks otherness
in the ceaseless negation
of the same.
Releasing the difference. Embracing the difference. Exceeding the
difference.
Paradoxical efficiency of this moment of negation,
refusal, distance, difference. Like a worm in the fruit of the
roundness of the world. Like a disease in animal plenitude. It is
however only through the negation of the massive natural assertions
that can emerge, dialectically, the human innovation.
Is
a dialectical materialism like the Marxist one possible? The absolute
'same' can never produce anything else… unless being introduced
there surreptitiously. But already materialism itself has no chance without being thought. A stone is not materialist, nor a chimpanzee! Already
the monist reduction of materialism is itself dialectical result of
significance. A 'materialism' can be said fallaciously 'dialectical'
only because it is already said so by grace of man's dialectical
thought.
