The personal mystery
Through history our humanity is given the possibility to run the adventure of the infinite exodus towards more humanity. This is a chance and not a need! And this chance is given through the extreme embrace of a maximum of difference. It is the person, almost a `species' in the human realm, which realizes the dialectical embrace of such great a difference in the maximum of ‘communion’, according to the relevant distinction of Max Scheler, and not of `mass' nor only of `community’.
The person emerges where the human animal does not come to terme by itself. The person arises beyond the classifications and the labels. Because She/He is primarily freedom and often appears whithout warning. Essential freedom, thus permanent creation and innovation, thus unforeseeable and sometimes scandalously original.
The meeting between personal humans – this is already evident with very little children – is deeply marked by the reciprocal gaping. You never know exactly the other person. This knowledge remains exposed to uncertainty and risk of incomprehension.
The person is dissidence.
The person is not a rule but an exception.
The person refuses the masks.
The person cannot be demonstrated, just encountered.
The person is where man passes man infinitely.
The person is always on the way.
The person is essentially different from the individual.
The person embraces the carnal and the spiritual reality.
The person is saying ‘no’ to the hypothalamus.
The person is unforeseeable.
The person is ceaselessly beginning.
The person is continuous creation.
The person is never exhausted by its expression.
The person is never enslaved by its conditions.
The person is unique and irreplaceable.
The person is breathing the grace.
The person is absolutely unusable.
The person resists manipulation.
The person refuses mimics.
The person is never absolutely alone.
The person is deeply in communion.
The person is calling for encounter.
The person grows in reciprocity.
The person suffers with very other human being.
The person knows that any man is always worth more than his sin.
The person is never despicable even if its caricature is.
The person’s culmination is in forgiving.
The person always seizes the chances of the difference.
The person wants to be free `with' and not `against'.
The person refuses a freedom paid at the price of a slavery.
The person finds excuses for the other person.
The person refuses to break violence by violence.
The person is not frightened by dirty hands.
The person pronounces the word `happiness' only with an infinite decency.
The person remains optimistic beyond the reasons to be pessimistic.
The person remains calm behind the irritations.
The person newer gives up hope.
The person does not favour insurance against all risks.
The person handles abstractions with a smile.
The person can easily be elsewhere.
The person accepts the limits.
The person is breathing humour.
The person is what does not age in man.
The person achieves herself in the choice of values which are worth more than life.
The person is rich of what remains in its nudity.
The person is inhabited by the audacity of the impossible.
The person remains in great proximity with the child it was.
The person is in communion with the Absolute.
The person is not where Eros is sought but where Agape is given.
The person is an absolute in the middle of the contingency.
