Open on another order
The human being is open on an order which is not that of the daily obviousness which reigning in surface. He is elsewhere, further, deeper than the easy surfaces in which we are unceasingly likely to confine it. Here other `values' have course and other dimensions open. This order of gaping is not immediately accessible. A certain experiment is however possible. It needs something like a `preliminary conversion'.

Infinite fullness would fill the being and would not leave any chance to anything else. Creation is impossible without emptiness. ‘Ex nihilo’ is in the beginning of divine founding.
Matter functions always by filling up holes. To dig holes is the characteristic of the spirit.

Doesn't the total human experiment remain radically and implacably open on something other than the strict scientific articulation? Something other … like the act of being, the mystery of our existence, the ‘fascinosum’ and the ‘tremendum’ of the sacral experiment, existential bursting, sudden appearance, encounters, creation, the infinite realm, freedom, the mystic solidarity of the world, value, love, the beauty, the good, evil, time, eternity, the sense, the sense of sense, God…
